Synopsis: Fed up with being taken for granted, Janine takes a long overdue vacation, and the Firehouse falls apart without her. The Extreme Ghostbusters hire a temp, Lilith, who appears to be even better than Janine, but is in fact an energy-sucking ecto-leech queen bent on destroying the Extreme Ghostbusters from within.

• Title Reference: "Temporary insanity" is a legal defense by the accused that he/she was briefly insane at the time the crime was committed and therefore was incapable of knowing the nature of his/her alleged criminal act.
• Alternate Title: "Temporary Insanity".
• They keep a statue of Peter Venkman (complete with uniform and working Proton Pack) in the firehouse. An interesting note is that the face is digitized out. Perhaps there is some licensing restriction in place keeping Adelaide from using the exact character designs from The Real Ghostbusters (produced by DIC), as Egon, Janine, and the other original Ghostbusters (seen in "Back In The Saddle") have been redesigned at least slightly.
