Album Notes

The CD was released on August 13, 2021; and the vinyl record was released on October 15, 2021.
The vinyl features an interior collage showcasing the main four Ghostbusters and Dana, along with images from the film that are held together by pink mood slime. The vinyl disc features a pink slime splatter effect.
The album features original tracks, as well as 3 newly re-recorded tracks, and an additional track originally recorded for Ghostbusters II but not featured in the film.
The tracks are not in movie order, and many cues (pieces of music) from all over the film are joined together in each album track.
The "World of the Psychic" theme - "Young Man's Fancy" by New Concert Orchestra and Cedric Dumont - is not included because it is stock music, and not a Randy Edelman composition. Read more about this music on the Ghostbusters II Trivia page.
