Fun Facts
  • Louis, wanting eagerly to help the Ghostbusters, grabs one of their spare suits and packs and makes tracks from the firehouse to the nearest bus stop to get up to the Museum. In reality, Louis' "nearest" bus stop was a good 80 blocks uptown! The bus stop is for the M15, as in New York the buses are numbered in regards to the line and given a letter representing their respective boroughs.
  • Both the diner that Ecto-1A passes and Louis' bus stop are on the same road (First Avenue), a block apart from each other. In fact, Ecto-1A is seen driving down First Ave., past where the bus stop would be, in order then turn onto E. 76th St. where the diner sits on the corner.
  • The intersection where the baby carriage stopped is a block from the diner (two blocks from the bus stop), also on First Avenue. And if you then turn left onto E. 77th St., you can visit Dana's apartment!
  • In the background of the bus stop shot you can see The Wicked Wolf bar and restaurant. After 20+ years of service, The Wicked Wolf closed its doors on August 10, 2009 to make way for the 2nd Ave Deli. So, yeah, there's now a 2nd Ave Deli on First Avenue!
