Synopsis: When the Ghostbusters are fired as consultants on a movie set, the director hires real ghosts to make his film instead of actors! The only problem is that their fee is the destruction of the Ghostbusters.

Title Reference: "Lights, Camera, Action" is a traditional cue to a film crew at the beginning of a take.
The voice actors were recorded on November 12, 1986.
The episode is listed as "Lights, Camera, Haunting" on the call sheet.
There are two slightly different versions of this episode. The opening shot was almost completely re-animated. The first version features some poorly-drawn glass-fronted skyscrapers, while the other features better-drawn Victorian skyscrapers.
