  • Title Reference: "Mr. Sandman" is a song written by Pat Ballard which was published in 1954 and most famously recorded by The Chordettes. The song's lyrics convey a request to Mr. Sandman to "bring me a dream", which could be misheard as "dream me a dream".
  • The voice actors were recorded on July 2, 1986.
  • This episode exists with two different full-length audio tracks; one in which Lorenzo Music is Peter and Laura Summer is Janine, and the other where Dave Coulier is Peter and Kath Soucie is Janine.
