Title Reference: When the Glob and the Sleaze merge together, they become The Slob.
The voice actors were recorded on May 9 and 11, 1990. Dave Coulier recorded alone on May 11, 1990.
As noted on the call sheet, Dave Coulier was originally going to help voice Glob and Slob.
This episode features Professor Dweeb, a staple of the "Slimer!" shorts from season four (1988-1989); as well as the Sleaze, who was caught by the Ghostbusters in the "Slimer!" short "Don't Tease The Sleaze".
